Finding A Little Comfort

If you are here because you have found yourself in a really bad pair of shoes, I hope you will find a little comfort here.  This is a really tough place to be in your life and the only advice I can offer is this.......

Cling to God and all his Glory  Without him we would be nothing.  I pray to God everyday.....several times a day.  I ask him for strength and comfort.  God has held me and my family so tight through this and showed us his everlasting love.  He has given me a blanket of comfort through it all.

I have added some scriptures below.....I hope you find a little bit of peace by reading them.  God has you in his arms and he will never let go.

Philippians 4:7

And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard you hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

 Matthew 5:4

Blessed are those that mourn, for they shall be comforted

Psalms 30:5b

Weeping may endure for the night, but joy comes in the morning.

John 16:33

I have told you these things so that you will have peace of heart and mind, Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows, but cheer up, for I have overcome the world,

2Thessalonians 2:16-17

May our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who has loved us and given us everlasting  comfort and hope which we don't deserve, comfort your hearts with all comfort, and help you in every good thing you say and do.

Jeremiah 31:13

I will turn their  mourning into gladness. I will give them comfort and joy instead of sorrow.

Proverbs 3:6

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.

To every thing there is a season, a time to every purpose under the heaven: a time to be born,  a time to die, a time  to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; A time to kill, and a time to heal, a time to break down, and a time to build up; A time to weep, and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance

John 14:1-3

Let not your heart be troubled; believe in God, believe also in Me. in My Father's house are many mansions

John 16:22

Jesus said, “Now is your time of grief, but I will see you again and you will rejoice, and no one will take away your joy.”
